Prognostic Data Library

The Prognostics Data Library (PDL) is a web-based data management system for use by researchers and industry around the world to access suitable datasets for testing asset remaining useful life models.

The PDL is the brainchild of Dr. Jo Sikorska and Prof. Melinda Hodkiewicz, authors of the highly cited journal paper ‘Prognostic modelling options for remaining useful life estimation by industry

The PDL collates and enables sharing of high quality datasets across the entire prognostics community. A crucial difference in the PDL over other databases is the emphasis on capturing meta-data about the asset and its maintenance and operating environments.
